SPPCR
Allele Frequency Estimation From Small Pool PCR Data
Description
In small pool PCR, very small amounts of DNA are amplified so that
only, on average, two or so alleles are seen. The examination of a
sample is replicated many (perhaps 100) times. Data consists of the
number of replicate examinations in which a particular allele was
seen. From this data, the frequency of all alleles is estimated along
with the variation in this estimate.
